This 8-class Creating Comedy course is improvisation and comedy focused for those of you returning with some previous experience in "Welcome to Improv", "Adult Drama for Fun" or any other introductory performance course. Students will get the opportunity to focus in detail on developing comedic characters, devising sketches, improvising comedy scenes, as well as writing and performing comedy scripts.
Over the course of 8 weeks, students will develop the tools needed to navigate improvised, devised, and written comedic scenes. We will explore scene mechanics, dissect successful and unsuccessful comedic works in order to solidify our understanding of the art, and focus on honing the craft of comedic performance in both structured and unstructured frameworks.

Adult Scene Study is a 10-week beginner/improver adult acting performance course covering some of the basics of voice and body work, improvisation, understanding text and performance.
