Course Description
Certified IT Specialist in Python
This course is government-funded for all Irish residents with a PPS number, whether in full time employment or looking for work. The programme is delivered online by Cenit College, an authorised training provider for eCollege.
This course provides learners with essential skills in Python programming, focusing on scripting, data manipulation, and application development. Learners will build a strong foundation in Python, and after completing the course, can register for an exam to gain the ITS Python certification.
By completing this course you will be able to:
- Write and debug Python scripts and programs
- Utilise Python for data manipulation and automation
- Implement object-oriented programming in Python
- Develop Python-based applications and workflows
By successfully passing the exam at the end of the course, you will achieve an IT Specialist in Python Certificate, an industry recognised qualification certified by Certiport.

Previous Experience: Experience in using web based learning systems is an advantage.
