This course is designed to provide the knowledge & personal skills required for a career in business. The course combines the tbroad heoretical business & practical knowledge required to function at a high level in today's increasingly complex & challenging business world.

Career Opportunities:
Students who successfully complete this course will be prepared for immediate entry into the employment market in a variety of business roles within companies.
Further Education:
Students who successfully complete BTEC HND in Business (Marketing) may qualify for entry into second or third year of the Bachelor of Business (Ordinary Degree) in Management or Marketing in IT, Tallaght. Entry level will be determined by results. Students may also qualify for entry to Year 3 of the Bachelor of Business in Entrepreneurship in Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology. Students may qualify for entry to other third level colleges with these qualifications.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
5 Passes in the Leaving Certificate to include Maths and one subject passed at Higher Level ora Distinction in the Leaving Certificate Appliedor FETAC Business Studies Award or equivalent standards of education. Foundation Maths is not accepted as part of the minimum entry requirements for this course. Exemptions may be granted to mature students. All entry is subject to interview.
