Art Introduction: Explore different mediums

This ourse is designed to explore 3 versatile mediums, colouring pencil, watercolours and acrylic.This course is suitable for all levels from beginners to the more experienced. Encouraging students to explore their possibilities using imagination and curiosity.

Join me for this 10 week adventure in art, creating and learning together.

Colouring pencil:

Using colouring pencils I will guide you through techniques such as layering, blending, and shading to create rich textures and depth. Learn how to produce vibrant colours and subtle gradients.

Watercolours: 

Learn the fluidity and transparency that defines this medium. We will cover topics such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry , water control, washes and more..

Acrylics:

We will explore the versatility of acrylic paints, which offer bold colours, layering and texturing. Using different techniques, including dry brushing, impasto, and glazing.

Materials Required

Participants can bring pencils and paper on the first night 2b 4b 6b etc. And on the night we can discuss what you will need for the remaining classes.

Welcome to my world of Art and design, I’m Sandra O’Connor, a passionate artist who loves teaching and sharing my knowledge of art. I’m an artist who loves colour, and my work is displayed in galleries around the country. In this class we focus on step-by-step instruction that encourages creativity and skill building. This journey is about learning, growing, experimenting and inspiring each other through a shared passion for art.
