Adapted Physical Activity (APA) is a specialised field that focuses on modifying and tailoring physical activities to meet the unique needs and abilities of individuals facing physical, sensory, intellectual or mental health challenges. This course covers a broad spectrum of topics, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote inclusivity, accessibility and overall well-being through physical activity.
Competent written and spoken English (CERF B2 or Higher) for those whose first language is not English is a requirement.
This course will run on Wednesday evenings 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm and Saturdays 9.30 am to 4.30 pm in our Killorglin Campus for 9 weeks.

Entry Requirements | Applicants must be 18+ years of age on entry to the course. Competent written and spoken English (CEFR B2 or Higher). Mature applicant route available for applicants aged 23+. Leaving Cert, LCVP, LCA or QQI Level 4 Major Award. Non-EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland. |
