Tourism Careers Webinar for Guidance Counsellors: Failte Ireland is hosting targeted webinars on 13th & 15th January on  career choices in tourism and hospitality.

This series of webinars is to inform Guidance Counsellors of relevant courses/programmes that will assist students in making a career choice in tourism and hospitality. It is important to understand that courses and programmes in tourism and hospitality remain a strong choice with students as the industry is anticipated to be in recovery mode by 2022 when students are graduating.
The webinar aims to do the following: • Advise of programmes in Tourism and Hospitality offered by Further and Higher education providers. • Promote the benefits of the Tourism Careers Portal to schools. • Highlight the positive, practical and interactive nature of Tourism and Hospitality programmes.
The topics covered will include: • How to access all available information on local and national Tourism and Hospitality programmes. • Demonstrate how this information is easily available to students and parents / guardians. • Encourage and guide interested students towards the appropriate programmes on offer. • Help identify where to locate further information.
