The Institute of Physics (IOP) are currently running a series of  Employability Skills Workshops for showcasing research and increasing your physics profile, interview techniques and pathways to CERN.

One of the upcoming workshops is open to all all physics undergraduates, apprentices and trainees.

Workshop three for the wider physics community: Wednesday 9 June 5-6pm

This session will cover how to use online platforms for showcasing research and increasing your physics profile. With Akhil Kallepalli, Research Associate at the University of Glasgow and Jenika Karsan, Head of Global Marketing at MeVitae.

  • Introduction to the main research platforms
  • Professional affiliations and communities
  • LinkedIn, alternative uses of social media, websites and developing your personal brand
  • Roundtable discussion and Q&A

This session is for all physics undergraduates, apprentices and trainees
