The National Botanic Gardens Glasnevin College is holding its Spring Careers Day on March 12th 2020 in the Gallery room and Auditorium building in the Botanic Gardens Glasnevin.

National Botanic Gardens Glasnevin College Careers Day

This event is a platform to inform interested students about the courses that are on offer here in the college and also to showcase the careers available in the Horticultural sector. Their students in Level 6 have formed a committee to organise the event and are invested in running the programme for the day. They see this as a very important event for their future employment in Horticulture.

It is becoming more vital for the Horticulture industry to promote what is done in education in tandem with what careers are on offer in the sector.

What to Expect

This is a networking event, where companies can set up a stand and students can engage and discuss career opportunities and present their CVs etc. We will also hold short industry talks that will serve to inform the attendees about the different areas of Horticulture and what skillsets are needed to succeed in them.

The event will run from 12.00 – 3.00 pm on Thursday 12th March in the Gallery room and auditorium of the National Botanic Gardens and we invite companies to set up from 11.00 on the day.

Please bring any materials you wish in terms of advertising e.g. Popup banners & company brochures etc. students will be on hand to help you with set up.

If this would be of interest to you please contact the college by sending an email to botanic.college@teagasc.ie. or click here to find out more about the Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture in the National Botanic Gardens.
